I was born in Tulsa, OK into a military family and grew up moving about from Post-to-Post. It was the high-school social-life killing combo of D&D and Shotokan Karate, that first got me into story-telling and primed me for a career as a Fight Director. And these took pretty much all of my free time through high school. 

 

Out of college, initially I was behind the camera, running my own video production company Utv. Then I made a hard right turn and went back to school to pursue acting.

 

Since then I've been training, working and pulling in influences on my work from all over the world.  I've worked on stage and screen as an actor and constructed stage violence and intimacy for a number of productions, all while fully embracing the very fortunate position and responsibility of being a Teaching/Artist.

I've taught Acting, Movement, and Professional Preparation for experience levels of student-actors, at University and Community College programs for over 15 years.
